Pietersite Jewelry
Pietersite is named for Sid Pieters, a well-known gem expert. He found pietersite in 1962 while he was visiting a farm in Namibia, Africa. Pietersite is a blend of jasper, hawk eye, and tiger eye. It can appear in swirls, swathes and fibrous patchworks like bold paint strokes. Pietersite can also appear in various shades of blue, gold, brown and red; the blue variety is said to be the rarest.

Giving it the reputation of holding “the keys to heaven”, pietersite is said to activate and balance the mind. Therapeutically, pietersite is used by healers for its benefits to stimulate the pituitary gland and balance the endocrine system as well as female hormones.

With JeGem, you can find some of the most desirable pietersite jewelry pieces; not only do the gems come in mysterious and beautiful patterns, but each piece is also individually handcrafted by our artisans into truly exquisite art.
